Follow these steps on your kid's Android device to enable "App Blocking":
1. Open the ScreenCoach app on your kid's Android device.
2. Click on the profile icon on the kid's dashboard.
3. Click on the settings cog icon in the top right-hand corner.
4. You'll be asked to enter the ScreenCoach parent PIN (if set). Enter it.
It is recommended to set a ScreenCoach parent PIN to avoid kids from playing with the permissions. You can learn more about how to create one by clicking here. Set it up after fixing this permission.
5. You'll be taken to the "App Settings" screen. Click on "FIX IT" against "every permission under "Allow App Blocking"; there might be a green tick rather than FIX IT, which means the permission is already given. With that, grant permission for everything.
If you cannot find how to turn on accessibility, follow this. Click here.
If you still cannot turn it on, try this:
- Go to the device's settings app.
- Go to installed apps and search for ScreenCoach.
- Click the three-dot menu in the top right corner and select "Allow restricted settings."
- And retry the same steps: Click here.
Once these features are enabled, it will restrict your kids from accessing other applications once they run out of allocated time in ScreenCoach.
