ScreenCoach uses location services to stay active in the background on iOS devices. However, the following scenarios can cause it to stop running:

  1. Location Services Turned Off:

    • Your child can manually disable location services via the device settings.
  2. Background Location Permission Revoked:

    • iOS may display a message saying, “ScreenCoach is using your location in the background, do you want to turn it off?” If your child selects "Yes," this will stop ScreenCoach from functioning in the background.

If ScreenCoach stops working and app blocking is enabled, all apps may become blocked. To fix this issue:

  • Open the ScreenCoach app.
  • Follow the prompt to re-enable location services.
  • The app will guide you to the settings page to restore this option.
