Note: The ScreenCoach app needs to be open all the time on children's devices to be able to track the time used, etc. When the child's app is running and it's online, you will not receive any notifications.
Managing notifications on the mobile application:
You can enable and disable different notifications and change the frequency per user.
1. Launch the ScreenCoach application.
2. Click on the vertical ellipsis ( ⋮ ) for the child you wish to change the maximum time limit.
3. Click on "User Settings."
4. Click on the "Notifications" tab.
As a parent, you can change your receiving notifications preferences, generated from all other users, or you can change the notifications generated by a specific user(s).
- Receive notifications when section: The selected user will receive notifications on the device he is logged in to.
- Generate notifications to parents when section: The parents in the family will receive notifications generated from this selected user when, for example, disallowed usage occurs.
Parents can toggle ON/OFF the email notifications.
Once you are in, you will be able to view all the options for managing the notifications. You can set:
- Notification frequency
- Offline notification delay
- Pause notifications until a specific date and time
- Welcome back message frequency
