TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS


ScreenCoach uses built in iOS location services, however it is possible that some setting on your device may be getting in the way. Here are two things to look at

  1. Privacy-> Location services
  2. ScreenTime Content & privacy restrictions




1: Privacy-> Location services


If you have tried to Enable Location Services within the ScreenCoach App but still cannot see the location options in the iPhone/iPad settings, then you need to check to see if you have turned off locations services globally for all Apps (as this will override the attempt to Enable Location Services within the ScreenCoach App.

  • Go to Settings on your iPhone or iPad
  • Search for "Location" or;

  • Select "Privacy"
  • Choose "Security" 
  • On the top of the screen, you will see "Location Services"
  • Enable the Location Services




2: Apple ScreenTime content & privacy restrictions

Apple Screen Time has some content & privacy restrictions that may be getting in the way

You need to look for the two following items for the Apple ID that is not working correctly.
