ScreenCoach is a Parenting Aid, the following items below will help you determine if the kids are not “playing fair”
  • If you have app blocking enabled, and the ScreenCoach App is not running, they won’t be able to open any apps until they reopen ScreenCoach.

  • On iPhones & iPads (if you have an Apple Family set up and linked), they can’t delete the ScreenCoach app without the parents’ Apple Password.

  • You will get a notification to let you know that the device is offline (because in the background, ScreenCoach sends a tiny update (Heart Beats) to the ScreenCoach server to say “I am running”). If we don’t get these updates, we send you a push notification or an email to let you know.

  • When you open the ScreenCoach app as a parent user you will get a message on your main page if there are any devices that need fixing! Then click to navigate to the device record and it will tell you what is wrong and give you a link on how to fix it.

  • Each night at 10:30, you will also get an email listing any devices that are not configured correctly – this includes if the App isn’t running in the background or if the child has quit the App.

  • If you are using the ScreenCoach box, there are anti-tampering mechanisms in place, it will beep like a smoke alarm if you pull the power out or the HDMI cable and notify parents.
